With milestone testing done, we can now re-focus on business. Students have been taking a strength assessment which asks them 100 questions about themselves in order to determine their top five strengths. Students were tasked with exploring and understanding what their strengths were and how they could put those strengths to work to help them be more successful in life. This assessment also helped determine based on their interests, possible careers.
Prior to milestone testing, we had been covering some money basics. Students learned about gross versus net pay, income taxes, minimum wage, budgeting and how higher education is an investment in themselves, making them more valuable as an employee.
