Students took the Introduction Business and Technology SLO test today. This is a pre-test to the course to get a baseline of where the students is in terms of the content of the class. The results of the test will not impact the students grade.

We continued with our classroom culture activity with a discussion about organizational culture and how important it is when seeking employment to find an organizational that has a culture that fits their needs.
Students began their writing assignment related to the classroom culture scavenger hunt. Students will be taking their Student Learning Objectives Test tomorrow. This test is a pre-test to assess a baseline on their knowledge. Students will take the post test at the end of the school year. Students took their keyboarding unit test today.
We also began a classroom culture scavenger hunt and the activity will culminate tomorrow with a writing assignment. Students reviewed more keyboarding information using Quizziz. The unit test will be tomorrow.
We continued to review keyboarding basics with a Kahoot and students were told that their theory test on Keyboarding will be on Tuesday.
We started our lesson on keyboarding basics with a Kahoot. We also had class discussion about my profession, high schools including magnets and how to succeed in life.
Today we played Kahoot to review what we have been talking about as far as what this class is all about. Students also got to play in teams so that they could get to know each other better.
We also discussed their upcoming entreprenuer/InVenture Project and students were asked to get a composition note by Monday. This will be their log book. We will begin brainstorming about ideas for their projects beginning next week. Students continued to practice their downloading and uploading skills with two assignments, Learn to Download, Save and Submit and Three Things in Word. Both are formative assessments.
They also learned how to email me through Schoology in case they needed to ask me questions or ask me to go back and grade any late work. All students were asked to take a 1 min and a 3 min typing test so that I could have a baseline of where they are starting their keyboarding growth journey. We also covered an overview of the class through a Kahoot today! Students learned how to submit their work through Schoology to be graded. They also received a syllabus which they need to sign and have their parent/guardian sign too. Syllabus is due 8/11 for a grade.
Students were shown how to also email me through Schoology. I will be at training today at Georgia Tech. There will be a sub. Students are expected to behave and continue their typing lessons today.
